Originally from Rochester, NY, Shawn Gough has called Charlotte, NC home for 17 years. With over 16 years of success at leading U.S. and global staffing and consulting firms, Shawn has supported clients across IT, Accounting & Finance, Healthcare (non-clinical), Engineering - including aerospace - and Operations. His expertise spans executive search, direct hire, Staff Augmentation, and workforce and project based solutions, always with a focus on speed, precision, and measurable impact.
Building on relationships forged in Charlotte and nationwide, Shawn founded Tactical Edge with a singular goal: to deliver the talent organizations need - when they need it - without the inefficiencies and empty promises that give the industry a bad name. Leading with experience, honesty, and visibility, Shawn partners with organizations that value diversity and proven expertise in their workforce.
Shawn and his wife, Medine, bring a global perspective shaped by roots in Jamaica, Grenada, Germany, and Türkiye. They seek to bring a global perspective - an outlook that informs Tactical Edge’s commitment to helping organizations scale and thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.
