Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia has become the first organization to pilot Epic’s new phenotyping AI tool. The tool automatically scans years of patient notes to identify discrete phenotypes — or observable traits — that can help clinicians reach diagnoses more quickly and recommend more targeted treatments.
On Oct. 9, health systems across Louisiana joined forces to launch MyChart Central, giving patients a single, password-free login across multiple health systems.
